Ontario Jewish Archives
Founded in 1973, the Archives has been actively collecting and preserving material recording the history of the Jews in this province.
|The wide variety of material preserved includes manuscript and printed documents, pictorial material, sound & video recordings and selected artifacts. Individuals and organizations are encouraged to contribute material relating to Jews in Ontario. The OJA gratefully accepts gifts and is a designated institution under the Canadian Cultural Property Export Act.|
Appointments to visit are required. Please be aware that not all records are open for public access. Researchers should consult Archives staff prior to their visit. Hours of operation: Monday to Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 pm. Closed Jewish and statutory holidays.
