Jewish Information Service of Greater Toronto (JIST) is the gateway to the Jewish community in the Greater Toronto Area.

Contact us for information about all aspects of Jewish life - dates of holidays, synagogues and temples, day schools and after-school Hebrew schools, camps, agencies and organizations, daycares, kindergarten programs, scholarships and more. Much of this information is available on Doing Jewish in Toronto, the community engagement component of UJA's website.
JIST also has a housing registry (a free community service of accommodations mainly for singles and couples), retirement homes and long-term facilities.
JIST offers Restitution Services assisting survivors and their families apply for compensation and pensions from Germany. Please contact Dora Elzbet, 416-630-2920.
PJ Library of York Region is another program UJA Federation offers through JIST, www.pjlibrary905.ca.
