Do you have access to a car? Do you have 2 spare hours a week? We'll help you spend it meaningfully. The Bernard Betel Centre is seeking drivers for its Meals on Wheels program. This is your opportunity to support the community by providing a hot nutritious meal to a homebound senior. Shifts run Monday to Thursday 11:30 am to 1:30 pm and Friday 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Mileage is reimbursed.
Can't commit to a regular schedule? We always have space for 'back up' drivers who can assist at short notice. Currently we are urgently seeking a volunteer to take a regular shift on Tuesdays or Fridays as well as back-up volunteers.
