Established in 1914, The Kiever has been at its present Kensington Market site since 1917 and has been maintained in a state of pristine beauty. The warmth and charm of this shul truly evoke a stirring sense of roots and spirituality for all who pass through her doors. Services are held every Shabbat and on all Holy days, and the facilities are often booked for special events and concerts. Although the format is called orthodox, the atmosphere is very open, friendly and welcoming to all.
