Let your child share in the magic of overnight camping at A Taste of Camp George!
URJ Camp George (the Reform Movement's Canadian overnight summer camp in Parry Sound, Ontario) is collaborating with the Reform Congregations of Greater Toronto to sponsor a unique overnight experience - A Taste of Camp George. A Taste of Camp George is a Shabbat overnight experience that will take place in the Camp George setting. Available to children grades 3,4 and 5, this overnighter promises all the fun of summer camp in a fraction of the time.
A Taste of Camp George will be staffed by veteran Camp George staff who will serve as activity directors for this event. Date: October 19-20, 2012 Cost to participate in this overnighter, including return transportation:, a day and night of programming and a Shabbat to remember: Only $60.00! URJ Camp George is a participating camp in TopBunk, UJA Federation of Greater Toronto's Jewish Camp Incentive Program. TopBunk is an outreach program intended to increase the number of first-time campers attending Jewish overnight camp in order to enhance affiliation and build community.
