Azrieli Fellow Program
Open to scholars who wish to undertake postdoctoral research in Israel in any field of study.  Eligibility: Applicants must be Canadian citizens or have completed a doctorate at a Canadian university.  The fellowships are awarded on the basis of academic excellence.

Israel Matching Scholarship Fund

Matching grants through eligible organizations (i.e. NCSY) to assist young people to participate in summer or full-year programs under Orthodox auspices in Israel. Must have had 3 years or less full-time education in a Jewish day school and demonstrate financial need.  Must be between 15-25 of age and been approved for scholarship by an institution meeting the requirements of the fund.

Jewish Education Scholarship Program - Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education and Administration & The Canadian Friends of Yeshiva University
Supporting Jewish educational leadership in Canada, fellows of the program will pursue graduate studies at Yeshiva University in New York.  Recipients agree to serve as teachers or administrators in a Canadian Jewish day school for at least three years after graduation.

The manner in which that mandate has been most effectively fulfilled by the Foundation is through the identification and support of a new generation of scholars, intellectuals, academic, writers, artists, rabbis, educators and other Jewish communal professionals to replace their earlier counterparts in Europe who were decimated by the Nazis in the Holocaust; and the development of the social capital of the Jewish people, its communal, cultural, and professional leadership, and the fostering of Jewish connectedness globally, including the propagation of the Hebrew language.
