Taking Care of our Children
The Single Parent Challenge?Six weeks A group to discuss the feelings, concerns and skills needed to be a single parent.
Topics include time management and balancing personal needs with parental responsibility.
Picking up the Pieces?Six weeks A group for families to adjust to the stress associated with separation and divorce.
Topics for parents include understanding the impact of separation on their children and developing more realistic expectations and attitudes towards separation. Assessment required.
Successful Step-Parenting: Learning to Step Together?Six weeks A group to help couples living in blended families to build a solid couple relationship that will help children adjust to step-family life.
Fathers' Group?Six weeks A group to help fathers redefine their roles while exploring the area of solo parenting.
The goal is to improve fathers' relationships with their children, thereby enhancing the self-esteem of both children and fathers.
One Family: Two Homes?Three sessions A group program to help families experiencing separation and divorce. Parents' sessions will address the impact of separation and divorce on children.
